The true meaning of CSR with Plexus Law raising nearly £4k for YCT
Leeds based, Plexus Law had a very busy year last year raising nearly£4,000 for the Youth Cancer Trust (YCT).
Vicky Walsh, who has been a guest at YCT many times originally nominated the charity as beneficiaries.
"I nominated the YCT at the beginning of 2009 and it was voted by an overwhelming majority to be our chosen charity for last year. I am amazed and extremely grateful to all my colleagues for their enthusiastic help and support which has enabled us to raise such a fabulous amount for such an excellent cause as the YCT." Said Vicky
The company organised various events throughout the year, including:
- February Valentines Raffle Draw.
- April Grand National Sweepstake.
- June The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge - 33 volunteers walking 26 miles within 12 hours through the Yorkshire Dales.
- July Summer BBQ - various draws/events.
- December Christmas time Draw
- 2 or 3 Dress down days through the year.
