The Event:

Ryder Cup Style Golf Tournament at Canford Magna and Evening Ball at the Royal Bath Hotel

October 8th 2010

The Daily Echo backed event is to raise money for the Daily Echo backed Youth Cancer Trust Appeal to raise £1.5m to purchase a new property for young people with cancer to enjoy a free activity holiday in Bournemouth.

During the day we are holding a Ryder Cup Style Challenge between YCT and a Charity which helps people with Multiple Sclerosis – The Geoff Smith Foundation.  The golf day is to be held at Canford Magna Golf Course and each charity will have 24 players in each team.

The golf event will take place shortly after the actual Ryder Cup.

The ball will be held at the Royal Bath Hotel and is specifically to raise funds for the Youth Cancer Trust Appeal.

Tickets £50 per head or a table of 10 for £450

Willing and able golfers!!

Golfers to play in the YCT team. We have a few Pro golfers who have kindly offered to play but we need more. If you are interested in playing on the YCT team please email us with your details

Sponsorship:

1. Golf Sponsor:

1.  Sole Sponsor - £2,000

Sponsor will receive:

• 2 places on the YCT Golf team
• 2 free tickets for the Ball
• Use of your company logo on all the publicity and on the day.  The sponsor can provide branded banners and company literature for display during the golf tournament and at the ball.
• The event will be backed by the Daily Echo Bournemouth so we can guarantee good local press coverage before and after the event
• Coverage on the YCT website and on the YCT Twitter feed.

2.  £100 minimum for golf pin sponsorship – 18 opportunities for this

• Company branding on your pin
• Company name in the printed materials for the evening.

2.  Ball Sponsor -

We are looking for £6,000 sponsorship to cover the costs of this prestigious event to be held at the Royal Bath Hotel and will be able to offer the following in return:

• 2 places on the YCT Golf team
• 4 free tickets for the Ball
• Use of your company logo on all the publicity and on the day
• The event will be backed by the Daily Echo Bournemouth so we can guarantee good local press coverage before and after the event
• Coverage on the YCT website and on the YCT Twitter feed.
