Welcome to the Youth Cancer Trust website hospitals and professionals section. This section has been designed to enable you to access as muchinformation about our holidays as possible in order for you to answer any questions you or a patient may have and most importantly provide you with the tools to promote our holidays.
The Free Holidays page will clearly show what a Youth Cancer Trust holiday is about and the quotes from the youngsters on the Feedback Page will give you an idea of the benefits a holiday can bring to the youngsters.

Child Protection
The Youth Cancer Trust takes the safety and care of young people very seriously - Please view our Child Protection Policy and External Activities Risk Assessments here
We can provide holidays for young people with the following criteria:-
- Aged between 14 and 30 years suffering with cancer or a malignant disease
- Attending a hospital/GP in the UK or Irish Republic for cancer treatment including check ups
- In remission for up to 5 years
- Guests who have already had a holiday at YCT.
- Patients can bring a brother, sister or friend
If you come in contact with any young cancer patient between 14 and 25 years who could benefit from one of our holidays please help us by promoting our holidays in your workplace?
Our fundamental need is to raise awareness across about The Youth Cancer Trust in the UK in hospital wards, doctor’s surgeries and cancer information centres. We need your help to do this AND we need you to make referrals – Please can you help?
Your support could be the difference to a youngster walking past our poster and a youngster having a wonderful break away. We ask you to share our enthusiasm and help encourage more young cancer patients to take that first step in helping them live life to the full.
We have a range of FREE promotional material available to you which includes A4 or A5 laminated posters, A5 leaflets, application forms, newsletters and videos/DVDs.
Our videos / DVD in particular are an excellent advert for our holidays made by some of our youngsters they are completely un-scripted. Please see our ORDER FORM to order new resources or extra supplies.
