Ryder Cup Style Golf Tournament at Canford Magna and Evening Ball at the Royal Bath Hotel

This Daily Echo backed event is to raise money for the Daily Echo backed Youth Cancer Trust Appeal to raise £1.5m to purchase a new property for young people with cancer to enjoy a free activity holiday in Bournemouth - as we are running out of room at Tracy Ann House.

25% of the proceeds from the ball will also be donated to the Geoff Smith Foundation, a Southampton based charity which provides holidays in Spain for people with Multiple Sclerosis.

During the day we are holding a Ryder Cup Style Challenge:

The golf tournament is at Canford Magna Golf Course and each team will consist of 6 pairs and 12 singles played by Ryder rules.

The golf event will take place shortly after the actual Ryder Cup.

* We have a full team of golfers for team YCT

An evening ball will be held at the Royal Bath Hotel and is specifically to raise funds for the Youth Cancer Trust Appeal and the Geoff Smith Foundation.
